  • Where is Hope located?
    Hope is located on the Seward Highway, roughly 90 miles south of Anchorage and 80 miles north of Seward. The Hope Highway turnoff is at mile marker 56, and there is typically no cellular service the last 30 minutes of the drive into Hope from either direction.
  • Is there a gas station in Hope?
    There is no gas in Hope! So please fill up in either Girdwood, Cooper Landing, or Moose Pass if you plan to do much driving within the town of Hope.
  • Is there fishing in Hope?
    The town of Hope has several great fishing spots along Resurrection Creek! Please refer to Alaska Department of Fish and Game for current regulations and licensing.
  • Is there public parking in Hope?
    There are no public parking lots in the town of Hope and there is minimal street parking in residential areas. Ideally, visitors would plan to park at a camp ground. If you do park on residential public streets please be mindful of private homes and courteous to local residents.
  • Are you wheelchair and/or disability (ADA) accessible?
    Our guest rooms at the lodge do require staircase access, however our cabins and market are ADA accessible. Our cafe and music venue are also ADA accessible.
  • When are you open?
    Creekbend Cafe is open five days a week year round, closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The hours change seasonally, so please visit google for the most updated hours. In the summer the cafe serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, with brunch on Sundays. In the winter the cafe serves lunch and dinner, with breakfast on the weekends.
  • Can I order carry out?
    Yes! For carry out, you can view our menus here and call 907-782-3274 to place your order.
  • Can I rent the cafe for an event or order catering?
    Absolutely! We offer a range of event services and outside catering, including multiple event areas depending on the size of your party. You can find more information on our private events page and fill out the form with your event or catering details so we can reach out with more information.
  • Can I reserve a tent campsite?
    You can reserve tent campsites for Creekbend Cafe on our website here! The tent camping on property is an open field with no designated sites. So book a site and come early if you’d like the largest selection. Additional tent camping options can be found on the Hope Chamber of Commerce website at
  • Is your lodge dog friendly?
    Our guest rooms and cabins at Coldwater Lodge are all dog friendly with no pet deposit required. There will be fees however, if there is any damage or additional cleaning needed after your visit. At this time, the Yurts at Creekbend Cafe have a strict no pet policy, due to the mud and debris that may be found outside of the Yurts.
  • Where can I car camp?
    Creekbend offers first come first serve car camping. Spots are limited on the weekends, so arrive early. If parking on a public street for multiple hours, please respect our neighbors and do not park in front of private property.   • Where can I camp with my RV or motorhome?
    Creekbend and Coldwater have electric and full hookup sites available to rent! For more information on availability and location click here.   • Do kids need a ticket for music?
    Kids 15 and under are welcome to enjoy the music for free, with adult supervision! Music is open for all ages, unless otherwise noted. Those 16 and older will need a ticket to attend.
  • Are music events dog friendly?
    Music events are typically dog friendly. If you bring a pet, they must be leashed at all times and with their owner. There will be notice in advance on our social media of pets will not be allowed in the venue. If the policy is not followed, we may choose to no longer allow dogs so please be courteous of other customers and any pets.
  • Are there any refunds on tickets?
    All sales are final and refunds are only allowed in limited circumstances, or if the event is cancelled. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to
  • How does ticketing work?
    Please come with a copy of your ticket either printed or on your phone. Cell service can be spotty in Hope so just make sure you have a reliable way to present your ticket upon arrival.
  • What can I bring to music events?
    We do not allow outside food and beverage into the venue, unless relating to childcare needs. Any large bags or purses will be checked for weapons, outside alcohol and food. Feel free to bring personal chairs, blankets or umbrellas!
  • Can I purchase tickets at the door?
    If the show is not sold out tickets will be available to purchase at the door, although sold out shows are common so we recommend to reserve tickets ahead of time!
  • Will you still host music if it is raining?
    Our music is rain or shine! Alaskans love to dance even in the rain, so if the weather takes turn for the worst we will do our best to setup tents and canopies. Guests are more than welcome to bring pop-up tents.
