
Hope is located on the Seward Highway, roughly 90 miles south of Anchorage and 80 miles north of Seward. The Hope Highway turnoff is at mile marker 56, and there is typically no cellular service the last 30 minutes of the drive into Hope from either direction.
There is no gas in Hope! So please fill up in either Girdwood, Cooper Landing, or Moose Pass if you plan to do much driving within the town of Hope.
The town of Hope has several great fishing spots along Resurrection Creek! Please refer to Alaska Department of Fish and Game for current regulations and licensing.
There are no public parking lots in the town of Hope and there is minimal street parking in residential areas. Ideally, visitors would plan to park at a camp ground. If you do park on residential public streets please be mindful of private homes and courteous to local residents.
Our guest rooms at the lodge do require staircase access, however our cabins and market are ADA accessible. Our cafe and music venue are also ADA accessible.
