Sam Burchfield is a story telling and passionate musician who aims to connect people to Earth and to each other through incredible melodies of what he calls “soulful folk”. Growing up in the Appalachian mountains, raised on gospel and folk, Sam brings a refreshing and authentic vibe to the world of music. He also was a golden ticket holder on ‘American Idol’ but declined to continue on as he wanted his music career to be on his terms and not held down by contracts. Sam Burchfield and his band, The Scoundrels are truly expressing life’s ups and downs through their music for all to enjoy and relate.
