Growing up in the Appalachian mountains, raised on gospel and folk, Sam brings a refreshing and authentic vibe to the world of music. He also was a golden ticket holder on ‘American Idol’ but declined to continue on as he wanted his music career to be on his terms and not held down by contracts.
